Free Ticket Exchanges

You may exchange tickets up to 24 hours in advance - at no additional service fee.

Original Tickets must be returned to The Capitol Theatre Box Office before being exchanged.

In person: Exchange your tickets at the box office.

By mail: Mail a note with your request to: The Capitol Theatre / Attention: Box Office / P.O. Box 102 / Yakima, WA 98907. Include your tickets, Subscriber Account Number, daytime phone number, a check or credit card number to cover any amount due, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  If you prefer, your new tickets can be held at the box office.  You may then pick them up at Will Call prior to the performance.

For All Exchanges

We must have your tickets no later than 24 hours before curtain time.

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged after your performance date has passed.

You must return your original tickets to us by mail or in person.

Tickets may be exchanged only for a performance of the same production.

All exchanges are subject to availability.

Higher priced sections will include an additional charge. We regret that we can't offer a refund if you change to a lower-priced performance or section. If you're changing to a higher-priced performance or section, the difference will be charged to you.

Ticket Purchases

You may purchase additional show tickets at 10% off the regular price. Take advantage of pre-sale opportunities and first-choice seating for special shows presented by The Capitol Theatre. Watch your mail for notices.

Replacing Lost Tickets

Have you lost or misplaced your tickets? Don’t worry! Just notify us before the date of your performance and we’ll authorize a replacement that you may pick up at the box office just prior to your performance. Lost tickets may not be exchanged.

Donating Your Tickets

Your reserved seats are in great demand! If you are unable to attend a show or exchange your tickets for another performance, you may donate them to The Capitol Theatre and receive a tax deductible receipt for your income taxes. Please call 509.853.ARTS (2787) or 877.330.ARTS (2787) before the performance. Tickets are non-refundable.
