As General Manager, Gay Parker is responsible for the efficient operation of all Capitol Theatre services.  She is the key contact for the Theatre as a community resource and supports the technical department, administration services, front of house, and Theatre board and volunteers.  Gay has 28 years of office and project administration experience.  She has worked for several national engineering firms on a variety of projects including major bridges and tunnels in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR.  Gay returned to the Yakima area 10 years ago to marry Arlen (the love of her life) and has two children, Arielle, 7 and Aiden, 6.  Who would have guessed that the only place Gay ever wanted work in Yakima was The Capitol Theatre?

Gay enjoys being a mom in her spare time—shuffling kids back and forth to soccer games, karate, piano and school activities brings a welcome dimension to her life.  She also enjoys reading all kinds of books and getting pedicures!
