As a grant developer, Christina is responsible for research and acquisition of grant funding for Theatre programming and the Renaissance Yakima expansion project. She also works with Gus, the Capitol Cat, and Capitol Kids in the Classroom programming.
Christina comes to the Theatre from a background of teaching and freelance writing. After graduating from Central Washington University, she taught middle school in the Yakima School District until the birth of her first child. She began freelancing, and soon found herself serving as editor for two local parenting magazines. She’s written grants for non-profit organizations for the past ten years.
When not at work, Christina is happily run ragged by her three children, Michael, 14; Kennedy, 11; and Jack, 9. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and numerous pets. Any free time she can find is spent reading, doing yard work, and attempting to get fit.
